        KEY APPOINTMENT looks the safest option as he finished a creditable third in heavy ground at Haydock on his racecourse debut last month. He had the re-opposing Tantamount well behind and makes more appeal than Grey Mirage, who was fifth on a fast surface here last month. Newcomers from powerful yards to consider include the 130,000 euros colt Energize and the half-brother to three winners, Attwaal.
