This is a competitive-looking handicap and though Michele Strogoff wasn’t winning out of turn at Pontefract on Sunday, he has more on his plate here under a penalty. Raven Banner is also in good form but upped in grade again after wins at Doncaster and Epsom. REMEMBER THE DAYS won well at Ayr in May and looked to have slipped back to a fair mark again when just beaten at that track 10 days ago. Jedd O’Keeffe’s gelding to hold off the three-year-olds Sergio Leone and Jack Regan. Save The Bees recorded a 15th career victory at Haydock 12 days ago so can’t be ignored and Cacophonous has shown some ability and is lightly raced. Thunder Speed was a consistent when trained in Ireland but is probably best watched after a break racing for a new stable.
