STEEL CITY BOY was winning for only the second time on turf when scoring at Warwick last month. He's 8lb higher today, but was an easy winner and it's difficult to find any comparable form amongst this modest bunch. He beat Defector at Warwick and the latter has since finished behind recent Chester third Methaaly, while Kings 'n Dreams won off today's mark over C&D last July but needs some cut in the ground. Bathwick Xaara's Leicester win came on testing ground and Sleepy Blue Ocean's only win on turf was a maiden victory at Haydock back in 2009.
