A large field for this Hunter Chase but not that many can be strongly fancied. Irbee, Step Quick, Mr Dow Jones and Sursum Corda are all likely to have there supporters but the confident choice goes to Sol Music. The 11-year-old has been in the form of his life of late and goes on any ground and although he has never won over a trip this short before he is expected to score. Irbee rates a danger but although he travels well in his races he does not always find as much as is expected off the bridle. Mr Dow Jones is a bold front runner but he looks to have regressed this season. Step Quick could also go well as he is only 9 and has scope for improvement but his best form is on fast ground. Of the remainder Mr Custard is worth a cautionary look in the market with the experienced Polly Gundry taking the ride.
