In the hope that whatever was ailing her last time is now cleared up we will give another chance here to VALLEYOFTHEDOLLS, while Present Gesture, Shenanigan and Caoba are all considered. The selection is proven in today's conditions and over a similar trip, and has won two of her four career starts. Perhaps the testing ground was too much for her last time, when she emptied very quickly, but she is worth persevering with against her own sex. Present Gesture is another who goes well on fast ground, and although she has been out of sorts throughout this season, the booking of Tony McCoy is perhaps significant, and she may do much better now the ground has dried up. Shenanigan needs to prove that she handles this going but she certainly stays this trip and has some very good form in context to bring to the contest, so she should not be far away. Caoba was a fortunate winner last time but did at least prove that she goes on fast ground. She is a consistent performer who stays well, though on balance her form does not look strong enough to win this. Southern Exit looks to have frame claims especially if the cheek pieces work, but we are happy to side with Valleyofthedolls.
