A competitive handicap hurdle in which Pure Fun gets a narrow vote over Dynamic Lifter, Above The Cut and Polar Champ. Pure Fun is an improving sort who has taken time to realise his potential. He looked set for big things after making a winning debut at Worcester but did not make much of an impact last year. It has been a different story of late though as he has continued to defy the handicapper. His latest effort was over this trip at Stratford so there is no reason not to fancy him again. Dynamic Lifter was fancied at Uttoxeter but was outpaced until running on again near the finish. He too will relish the trip. Above The Cut has won plenty of races in his time but is about to pay the penalty for his two successes this term, while Polar Champ would be a threat to all on his old form, but even he has it to do against the in-form Pure Fun.
