The Paul Nicholls-trained Blue Business has shown enough in his four starts to suggest that a race of this nature would be well within his compass but the six-year-old may again have to settle for a minor role, with the vote going to Jivaty. Martin Pipe's gelding was an easy winner at Plumpton last month when having the consistent Jonanaud five lengths behind and, although odds on, lost no caste in defeat behind Hunting Yuppie at Ludlow subsequently. He is preferred to Mr Dow Jones, who ran a promising race back over hurdles at Fontwell recently having had several years in hunter chases and handicaps over fences. Supreme Hill has solid claims on his best but has been none too reliable over the years. Cinnamon Line and Peveril Pride are probably the best of the remainder but the one they all have to beat is Jivaty.
