Verdict

LAPFORD LAD got going too late when beaten a length by Stanley Stanley over track and trip at the start of the month. He is 4lb better off with the winner and should turn the tables. Give Us A Swig has gone up 6lb for scoring at Worcester while Watching Brief carries a penalty for winning at Uttoxeter on Friday, though he has made the frame in three previous runs here. Norley has had his problems but starts off in handicaps off a lowly mark and has more scope than any of these.
