In depth

Verdict

This looks a tough one to call. Kentford Heiress has taken well to fences and Beggar’s Wishes is starting to look well treated being 4lb lower than when scoring over track and trip back in October. Pacific De Baune chased home Royal Village on his handicap debut at Uttoxeter and will likely to strip today, though the winner was beaten at Perth last week. Wait For Me is on a long losing run and hasn’t run over the larger obstacles since 2017 but can’t be dismissed out of hand. ROMAIN DE SENAM (NAP) bolted up here last month and is still improving. He has 8lb more to carry but his rider claims 7lb so he might be the one to beat.
