In depth

Verdict

This is the best race on the card and it looks fiercely competitive. Handy Andy hasn't won over hurdles since 2012 but won a chase by 17 lengths here earlier in the month and is 2lb lower. Mccabe Creek was a bit unlucky last time at Kempton and Floresco should go well having handled himself well enough in a Class 2 handicap at Haydock in March, though he's gone up another 3lb since. Unison boasts a 50 per cent strike rate over timber having won last time at Ludlow but Beau Phil is proving hard to place. Pinkie Brown has been highly tried since winning at Wetherby in January but FORT CARSON is enjoying a new lease of life since joining Neil King. The 10-year-old beat a subsequent winner at Exeter two runs ago and only found a revitalised Don Padeja too good last week at Warwick.
