In depth

Verdict

Houi Cherie was much improved at Ascot having a first run for Venetia Williams and drops down a grade for this but HYMAC was just beaten by a subsequent bumper winner in an Irish point in November and could be a useful recruit. Pataille is a full brother to one winner and a half-brother to four others and one of the newcomers who catch the eye. Wotastunner is another while St Patricks Bridge has placed between the flags and hails from a yard who do well with similar types.
