The selection is King Caine with the dangers being Jam Packed, Iamwhatiam and Curved Air. King Caine makes his debut in this bumper and, being trained by Paul Nicholls and part owned By Mr Barber, is bound to have been well prepared for his debut and would not have to be anything special to take this event on his racecourse appearance. Jam Packed trained by David Pipe has the invaluable service of McCoy in the saddle. His only start was at Leopardstown back in March when making no show in a bumper won by De Valira. The fact that he has since joined a top yard and is owned by Mr J P Mcmanus makes him of interest in this race. The Stef Liddiard-trained filly Curved Air is an interesting recruit and being by Turtle Island should like to get her toe in. But the selection is King Caine to make a winning debut.
