Verdict

After winning at Uttoxeter in July, AUNTY ANN (NAP) ran a decent race at Stratford off her new mark. She still appears in good form and the return to a long trip will suit Charlie Longsdon’s mare. Scoop The Pot has yet to win over fences but his turn didn’t look far away when fourth at Worcester. Mercers Court has suddenly found some form and beat Kings Temptation over a similar trip at Fontwell last time, though is now 6lb worse off. Moorlands George is capable of running well fresh and is a previous course and distance winner but Exxaro is an infrequent winner. Top Chief and the unexposed Allez Jacques may be the pick of the remainder.
