Alderbrook Lad won over three miles between the flags so it was a surprise to see him fold so tamely on his first start under Rules so we'll side with another recent recruit from the Irish fields in KILBREE KID. The six-year-old won a point-to-point at Stradbally on his final start, and though he failed to raise a bid when offered at the Doncaster sales, he gave a solid account of himself on debut for Tom George. Multitude Of Sins has failed to trouble the judge in five starts although he has a likeable enough pedigree. Somchine appeared unlucky in running at Worcester and he looks sure to run well again. Renegotiate was a winner on the Flat and he will be tried today in a combination of blinkers and a tongue strap, while Danandy lost his way badly last season and connections have given him plenty of time to recover.
