Verdict
Foolish Myth can recover last month's losses by overcoming the challenges of Sovereign's Joy and Jim Bobs Girl. The selection still held every chance when crashing out at the second last over course and distance when a well backed favourite. He's been given plenty of time to recover from that tumble, is lightly raced and can be expected to win races from his current mark. Sovereign's Joy only missed out by a short-head last time but his proximity to the winner saw his handicap mark rise by 6lbs which may just leave him vulnerable to some of those below him in the weights. Jim Bobs Girl has proved to be a grand servant to connections and a really consistent performer over hurdles and fences but she's gone up in the weights for getting beaten and it's hard to see why she should get her head in front unless the cards fall in her favour. The fly in the ointment is Wise Men Say as he's had just the three requisite runs over hurdles to qualify for a mark and is bred for a test like this. He's one to watch in the market but Foolish Myth has sound claims and is preferred.
