BERMUDA BOY was only beaten a short-head by Al Qeddaaf on his fencing debut over C&D last month. That was a much stronger contest than this and Paul Nicholls' six-year-old can go one better today. Royal Max has won four times over hurdles but may not have as much scope over the larger obstacles as the selection, while Lucy's Perfect was very disappointing on her latest start over timber here in May. Two Kisses had a decent record over hurdles last season and gets all the allowances today but she doesn't look a natural jumper of fences.
