Verdict

PHOEBUS LESCRIBAA was impressive on his first start for Fergal O'Brien when never in danger at Warwick under today's talented young pilot. The handicapper has reacted with inevitable harshness but conditions suit again and he could well be a major improver after a relatively light career to date. Silver Sea is back on the track after wind surgery and is respected off top weight for a yard whose inmates have been performing well while Eric The Third is another returning from an absence now he has his conditions once again. Both are short-listed along with the unexposed Press Gang, who has yet to fulfil his potential over timber.
