In depth

Verdict

Tell The Trees,College Ace and Amanpuri are three against the field in a minefield for punters and the tentative vote is given to Tell The Trees. The selection was a fair fourth behind My Lady Link last time out. The drop in trip looks in his favour and with this faster surface also in his favour he looks the value but in an open affair. College Ace rates the main danger on his latest sixth behind Rjobarr especially as this longer trip should suit. Amanpuri was a fair third behind Sesame Rambler last time and is another with place claims but he looks weighted up to his best. Abraham Smith was a fair fourth behind Astynax last time and is another with place claims but all his best form is with more cut in the ground. Of the remainder Lik Wood Powwer has dropped to a lenient mark and should be noted in the market with his shrewd yard in form but in a race that throws up more questions than answers and where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Tell The Trees.
