In contrast to the first division, there doesn't appear to be a great deal of sense in trying to get the likely favourite, Turfshuffle, beat. Font and Haddaaf are two of the likelier dangers. The selection won four of his fourteen starts on the Flat in Germany and looks sure to add to his tally over hurdles if his debut third to Song Of Songs is anything to go by. He can be expected to have derived considerable benefit from the outing and will be fancied to go close on this quicker ground. Font was in the process of running an improved race on his latest start and may have more to offer but we still harbour some reservations and he may fare better once handicapping. Haddaaf left his debut form behind to finish third to Working Title at Kempton despite flattening one of the flights; there should be races to be won with him too but handicapping may also be the way ahead for him as well. One or two others have hinted at ability so the market should be monitored but we fully expect Turfshuffle to open his account.
