All The Glory gave an all-the-way winner too much rope at Stratford on Saturday and the extra yardage here will help but WAY OUT was in terrific form in the spring. Both of his victories were franked and he could be worth risking after his summer break. The Galahad Kid was trying to give a prolific winner 7lb at Bangor three weeks ago and Six And Out has made the frame in four of his five starts to date. Buck Of Maine looks up against it, however.
Way Out (IRE) 2-1fav (11-4) Led until after 7th, led after next, clear last, stayed on well flat, won at Warwick 2m 5f hcp (4) gf in May beating Halifax (11-2) by 5 1/2l, 6 ran.
The Galahad Kid (IRE) 9-4 (11-9) Prominent, flattened 6th, 2 lengths down 3 out, soon ridden and headway to press leader, 1 length down 2 out, soon outpaced by leader, awkward, 4 lengths down approaching last where not fluent, no extra run-in, 2nd of 6, 17l behind The Big Jetaway (11-2) at Bangor-on-Dee 2m 4f (4) gd in Aug.
All The Glory 1-2fav (11-3) Chased leader, pushed along and could not go pace of winner approaching last, stayed on strongly flat, never nearer, 2nd of 3, 1/2l behind Donnie Azoff (11-6) at Stratford 2m (3) gd in Sep.
Six And Out 14-1 (11-4) Held up, headway out wide home turn, soon pushed along and outpaced, stayed on well for 3rd, 3rd of 8, 4l behind Dream Jet (11-4) at Stratford 2m 3f mdn (4) gd in Aug.
Buck Of Maine (FR) 33-1 (10-11) Held up in touch, outpaced and lost ground quickly before 3 out, rallied to take very modest fourth soon after final flight, kept on one pace near finish, 4th of 6, 32 1/2l behind Jeudidee (10-11) at Worcester 2m (4) gs in Aug.
