In depth

Verdict

NOAHTHIRTYTWORED (NAP) was badly hampered at Southwell last time but recovered well to win by a neck. Adam West’s charge may well defy a 4lb rise on that evidence and go in again. Port Or Starboard faced a tougher task when runner-up at Chepstow and should be thereabouts in this company but Mu Bien returned a disappointing favourite at Taunton back in February. Mamluk and Pumpkin's Pride go handicapping for the first time with the latter preferred if settling better.
