      Verdict

A large field goes to post for this maiden hurdle and few can be ruled out but the principals look to be Creinch, Seafield Bogie and Hill Forts Timmy and the tentative vote is given to Creinch. The selection was a fair fourth behind Noboadys Perfect last time out. That form has since been franked and under similar conditions he is taken to score. Seafield Bogie rates the main danger he was a fair sort between the flags and will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish so he should be noted in the market. Hill Forts Timmy is another worthy of respect as he is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and he may be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Rathlin Island is another that could go well on his best form but the suspicion is he may just need the run after a 223 day absence. Of the remainder Tihui Two was a fair sort in bumpers and if he jumps well he will be a danger to all but for the winner we return to Creinch.
