Most of these would have been more at home in a seller. BAGAN won in that grade at Stratford last September and was third at Fakenham two runs ago. He was taking on better opposition last time and is preferred to the more recent Stratford winner Appreciate. The latter’s yard also run Tarseem but he was eight lengths behind the selection at Fakenham. Gibraltarian is a former course winner but he ran poorly last time while Zoran clearly isn’t a leading light at Ditcheat.
