Verdict

A large field goes to post for this staying chase but on closer inspection not that many can be given a chance of winning. Wild Spice Bacardi Boy and Keitho are all sure to have there supporters, and we will stick with Wild Spice. The gelding from the Venitia Williams yard was a good second behind Babayaro last time out and the form has since been franked so with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Bacardi Boy would rate the main danger on his best form but he has failed to progress as expected so for reason he is opposed on this occasion. Keitho is another that could go well he showed a modicum of ability in bumpers when trained in Ireland and he is in the right hands to progress. Do It On Dani also has place claims on his best form but he disappointed last time out. Of the remainder SWylphide is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
