Though now a freelance, Sam Twiston-Davies will still be riding for Paul Nicholls this season. However, Harry Cobden is now stable jockey so it may be significant that the latter is on OVERLAND FLYER in this rather than The Eaglehaslanded. Both are looking to rescue reputations but the former is the less exposed and has already won a couple of point-to-points. Mighty Leader has also won twice between the flags and is a thorough stayer who has won around here over hurdles. He’s going chasing late in life but could be a danger if fully wound-up.
