Verdict

Good Time Ahead won at Lingfield in February and placed on the all-weather nine days ago. Zillion is 0-7 over hurdles but has won twice on the Flat, though SHAW’S CROSS is more interesting. It remains to be seen how he’ll handle a switch back to hurdles but he’ll love ground conditions today. Talimar Pearl may still have a bit of scope in handicaps but, like the others, has something to prove at present.
