    Verdict

Tim Vaughan does very well with imports from the Irish point-to-point fields so his recruit JIMBILL, a winner at Belharbour in February, may be good enough to make a winning debut under Rules. Hold The Fort has been beaten a long way on both bumper starts and the remainder with experience in this sphere have shown nothing. Another former point-to-pointer, Cardigan Island, was beaten a distance on his only start in a bumper at Market Rasen in May.
