In depth

Verdict

Suerte Al Salto did well to beat former stablemate Prospect Wells on his debut over fences at Fontwell and, on that evidence, will make a bold bid to defy a penalty. But Highway Code has been a shade disappointing so far over the larger obstacles and hasn't run since January. He's also better on softer ground while Lemon Drop Kid has a bit to prove at present and Midnight Lira may find this an insufficient test of stamina. De Faoithesdream and BABY MIX both have the scope to make decent chasers but we're siding with Tom George's grey on this occasion as he's been tackling better company over hurdles. On his form as a juvenile, he's undoubtedly a lot better than this grade.
