Verdict

It’s hard to have much confidence in any of this bunch. What A Scorcher was placed on several occasions before failing to complete at Bangor last time and Rye House finished runner-up twice in October before returning a losing favourite at Fakenham. MEXICAN BORDER looked beaten when slipping up here in March but gets a token vote on his earlier second at Taunton with a subsequent winner back in fourth. Shintori drops in class having been beaten a distance when third at Sandown and Whitstable Native finished closer at Southwell last time without threatening.
