Just Midas may be another Pipe-McCoy winner here, with Val de Fleurie and Lord Ville best of the rest. Having failed to reach the frame in five previous outings, Just Midas made a winning start for Martin Pipe when landing a lowly seller at Uttoxeter. After following up in similar company at Worcester, he was not disgraced when second in better company at Fontwell and in his current mood, may be worth chancing. Val de Fleurie, three times a winner here in the past, was found to be lame when pulled up at Uttoxeter in august and has struggled a bit since. He has the class though and if back to his best can make the frame at least. Lord Ville was a beaten favourite here last time and has yet to win when ridden by Richard Johnson. He has enough form to be involved but would prefer much faster ground. Saorsie also came to the bookies rescue last time but is another who goes well round here. A small investment in Just Midas may pay dividends.
