Verdict

The evergreen CAIUS MARCIUS is 3-3 around here and Brian Hughes had ridden him in three of his last four victories overall. The partnership can return back to Cumbria with the spoils again today as long as there isn’t significant rain. Sebastopol is a useful chaser on fast ground but may be having a pipe-opener. Fix At All will also be back over fences sooner rather than later and Francky Du Berlais is a better chaser than hurdler but Pyramid Place, seeking a fourth win over timber this year, is respected and Get Back Get Back has also had a run on the Flat since last seen over hurdles, though was behind Songo at Goodwood in June and the latter has won twice since over course and distance.
