Verdict

Church Field has won his last four but the handicapper may have his measure now and McCoy prefers Rum And Butter, on a hat-trick after easily beating Get Home Now over 2m3f here 10 days ago. He's been raised 18lb since, however, which looks harsh as the rejuvenated Sheriff Hutton has only gone up 9lb for his latest victory over 3m3f on the course. Decoy may be capable of reversing Cartmel running with Church Field on 5lb better terms but stablemate MY BROTHER SYLVEST is also interesting. He won off a higher mark over fences last month and stays this longer trip so gets the nod. David Pipe also runs the potentially well-treated Street Entertainer while Uttoxeter winner High Storm and course specialist Kylenoe Fairy are others to consider but classy chaser Gauvain may need this.
