Stablemates Priors Gold and Manger Hanagment were both engaged at Hereford yesterday but would have every chance if turning up here. The former has been in good heart on the Flat lately and the latter won easily over fences last time. Winning pointer Gouranga Society needs to improve on what he's shown so far over hurdles, however, while Briefcase may need another run to put him straight. BETAVIX impressed on his first start for Lawney Hill at Worcester, however, and probably has further improvement in him. The eight-year-old will probably be going chasing soon but can notch another victory here before going down that route.
