Verdict

Justice Smart and Trenches arrive on the back of maiden victories with the latter’s success coming over course and distance. Both can figure with normal progress while Miss Carbonia remains unbeaten having won a lower grade handicap at Leicester. But SILK CRAVAT was runner-up at this level to the progressive Sir Roderic at Sandown last time and Simon Crisford’s charge may just edge this on that form. The remainder are more exposed and don’t look particularly well handicapped with Dream Mover perhaps the best of them.
