In depth

Verdict

A great deal of guesswork is normally involved with maidens at this time of year but Zain Blue was second at York last time in a valuable contest which has already produced winners. Al Shabab Storm showed signs of inexperience at Leicester but was staying on strongly in the closing stages and will know more today. Ascot runner-up Accumulate is also open to improvement but Godolphin unleash the Frankel colt SYMBOL OF POWER, who is a full brother to a winning miler and half-brother to two other winners, and he gets the nod.
