        Verdict

        NOBLEMAN’S NEST was mugged on the line on his Doncaster debut having travelled strongly throughout. A lack of experience may have proved his downfall that day and he’ll know more today. Mankind made late headway at Ascot a couple of weeks ago and is another likely improver while Yaafour left an ordinary debut behind when third over 7f here earlier in the month. Character Witness might benefit from another furlong, however, and debutant Desert Mountain could also find this too sharp being a half-brother to Lingfield Derby Trial winner Best Solution.
