Airshow won easily at Kempton recently with Vegas Boy back in third but last year’s success at Newbury came in soft ground. The progressive SPRING ROMANCE has now won four of his last five outings and finished well ahead of Prevent when scoring on the all-weather last time. He won on fast ground at Windsor before that and may well defy a further rise in the weights in his current form. Rockies Spirit still looks high enough in the weights but novice winner Red Cymbal makes a belated seasonal reappearance and could go well on his handicap debut.
