Verdict

Laith Alareen rattled up a four-timer last year, beating Foxy Forever on his final start in August. But the latter is now 6lb better off and Ivan Furtado’s charge has a lengthy absence to overcome. A winner here last month, Jack The Truth followed up at Newbury but was then a beaten favourite at Carlisle and is 9lb higher now. SHAMSHON (NAP) is 7lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago but has won four times since and has been thereabouts again in his last three starts so a repeat may be on the cards.
