led, hung right when headed over 1f out, weakened closing stages
tracked leaders, driven to challenge 2f out, went 2nd inside final furlong, kept on same pace
tracked leader, every chance over 2f out, led over 1f out, hung left inside final furlong, ran on well
Just four runners here but all from major stables. Winston C made his debut at Yarmouth where he stayed on very strongly to lead close home over 7f. VANITY QUEEN showed the benefit of her opening run at Doncaster to score over this trip at Nottingham, giving the impression there was much more to come. She gets the nod as though Plant Pot Power made an encouraging start at Sandown and went off favourite at Salisbury she failed to fire on the soft ground. She did a bit better at Newbury last time, though, while Outre Mer has a very similar profile and has looked likely to be suited by this longer trip.
