In depth

Verdict

Hamish Macbeth showed some ability over today’s trip on the Rowley Mile course here back in May and Angel Grey caught the eye under a sympathetic ride at Newbury on her debut, though never looked like catching the winner. But LAIKAPARTY finished clear of the rest when caught on the line at Lingfield on his recent introduction and it’s Archie Watson’s charge that gets the vote to go one better. Follia is a half-sister to the useful sprinter Spoof and preferred to Kayat and Big Impact of the newcomers.
