Verdict
Majrooh was a 25/1 chance when making a successful debut at Wolverhampton but it looked no fluke and with progress guaranteed he's one for the shortlist. Steal The Scene won a minor handicap over this trip at Leicester and very nearly followed up off an 8lb higher mark over a mile at Haydock. Gun Case had Commodore half-a-length behind when they finished 1-2 at Sandown and can confirm the form on the revised terms while Ripinto was headed in the dying strides over the trip at Newbury. The latter had earlier been touched off by RAIN WIND AND FIRE at Kempton and Ryan Moore's mount looks progressive enough to defy a small weight rise.
