      Verdict

      Curran defied a penalty when beating Prepschool by a narrow margin at Pontefract and both make their handicap debuts. High Point made a winning start in nurseries when successful at Windsor with Spaceport and Monterosa filling the places and is 3lb higher. Charlie Appleby has sent out two of the last three winners of this and with the yard continuing to fire-in the winners, EMPEROR’S STAR (NAP) gets the vote upped in trip having been gelded since last in action.
