      Verdict

      This extra distance should bring further progress from MASEKELA. He had the measure of Seattle King when winning a Listed race over 7f at Newbury and had earlier finished in front of Royal Patronage when narrowly beaten in the Group 2 Superlative on the July Course here. The latter went on to land the Group 3 Acomb Stakes at York. Aidan O’Brien has won two of the last three renewals and Howth posted his best effort so far when fourth in a Group 2 at Leopardstown. The latter is preferred to compatriot Unconquerable and Oneforthegutter was only second in a Group 3 in France last time. Futurity entry Coroebus steps up in class having made a winning debut last month.
