Verdict

This fascinating Group two event could rest between the two unbeaten runners City Of Troy and Palace Episode, and we will side with the first named, True Class and Doctor Dash can also take a hand in the finish. The selection's debut win was gained in great style, winning a shade cheekily, not being touched with the whip as he weaved through from the back to have his head put in front on the line without really realising he had a race. He quickened like a good horse when following up next time at Doncaster and he can take this step up in class in his stride. Palace Episode landed the Acomb Stakes at York in emphatic fashion last time and should be even better over this longer trip, he will be a tough nut to crack. The Godolphin runner True Cause is improving with each run and should reward each-way supporters. Meanwhile Doctor Dash cannot easily be discounted having landed a decent Salisbury contest last time. Charlie Cool may prove best of the rest, but City Of Troy looks a potential classic contender and gets a confident vote.
