Both Field Of Dream and Shakespearean are fitted with headgear for the first time today but neither have shown enough lately to suggest they'll get involved in the finish. The Cheka is facing a stiff task conceding weight all round, though did beat several of these at Haydock last month, while it's some time since Palace Moon showed any worthwhile form and Dever Dream was very disappointing in last week's Windsor Forest. Most of the others have some sort of chance, however, including three-year-olds Libranno and Pausanias and Beacon Lodge, who beat Kakatosi and Redford in a Listed race at Haydock last month and bounced back from a poor effort behind The Cheka to run well behind Byword at Chantilly earlier this month. FLAMBEAU has improved markedly since finishing behind Inler at Doncaster in the autumn, winning on her reappearance at Leicester and running well in defeat at Lingfield three weeks later. Nicely rested since, she could have too much for these if today's slightly easier ground doesn't blunt her speed.
