FLEDGED continued his excellent progress when winning a handicap at Nottingham in good style. He's up 8lb but John Gosden's colt looks to have more in his locker and is just preferred to Mankini. The latter has been raised 10lb for last month's win at Leicester and is stepping up a grade for this. A hike in the weights proved beyond Eshtiaal at Ascot last time but Clowance Estate may be capable of better back on fast ground after a disappointing at Goodwood where Duke Of Clarence also ran below par. The latter had beaten Signed Up at the same track before that while Villoresi is preferred to both of Godolphin's charges for a yard in red-hot form.
