In depth

Verdict

Lermentov bounced back to form over this trip at Beverley last time but his best performances have been with more give in the ground than he is set to encounter here so looks opposable off his revised mark. Similar comments apply to recent Sandown winner Persian Lass while Parisien Star now looks weighted up to her best so the vote goes to Tertullian. Richard Hannon's charge has put up a string of good efforts in better company and is only 1lb higher than when finishing runner-up in a valuable Goodwood handicap last month. A reproduction may suffice in this grade.
