        Verdict

        CRIBBS CAUSEWAY endured a blip over a longer trip at Haydock in July but got back on track when staying on too strongly for favourite Notice at Salisbury. A 7lb rise makes life more difficult but she’s very progressive and can win again. Lady Bergamot has also been in fine form this season and won’t go down without a fight. Three Duchesses ran well on unfavourable terms at Doncaster but Tarte Tropezienne has gone up 5lb since beaten at Bath. This may be too tough for Vuela and Star Rock.
