Verdict

BERGERAC is on a losing run but fast ground suits and victory here would give him a penalty that would put him in line for a potential run at Goodwood next weekend. Pure Dreamer did not get the clearest of runs at Doncaster in a six-runner race though did pick up his previous three races under similar tactics. Oso Rapido won well at Catterick ten days ago and he represents a stable that has started to hit form. Smeaton's Light gets weight from all of his rivals and is fresh from his best effort of the season when a neck away from glory at Bath.
