Verdict

Hugo Palmer has sent out the last two winners and will hoping today’s longer trip brings further progress from Carigrad, placed at Haydock on his handicap debut. Near Kettering won a maiden at Redcar over 1m2f last month and should also figure but WEEKENDER came up against the unbeaten Laraaib when third in a higher grade handicap at Haydock last time - he may just edge a tight contest. Winston C is another unexposed type with a shout and should be sharper for a recent comeback.
